Get to Know the Team

Lisa M. Gutierrez, Executive Director

As a 13 year veteran to the senior housing industry in Snohomish County, Lisa joined the GenCare Lifestyle team mid 2010. She has been a resident of Granite Falls since 1997 and her children attended the Granite Falls school district. One of the most joyful rewards in Lisa's personal life was becoming a grandmother herself for the first time in 2010.

Michael O'Brien, Assistant Director

Michael joined the GenCare Lifestyle team in 2006 after a long and not so fulfilling employment stint behind the scenes in the high tech field of computers. Michael's true passion was to work somewhere that he could have an impact on the quality of someone's happiness as it related to the hearts of the folks in his own small town. Give us a call... you'll know in a few short rings if Michael's the one on the other end of the line.

Michelle Pelletier, Director of Vitality

Michelle blessed the GenCare Lifestyle family before the doors of The Village opened. As the premier Director of Vitality within the company, she brings a world of charm and energy into the lives of our seniors every day. The most recent Michellism; "I used to think of my job as entertaining the residents- now I think of it as engaging them".

Daphne Smith, Director of Culinary Services

Daphne recently joined the team, though brings with her many years of management in the food service industry, including several years within the local Granite Falls community. Through Daphne's leadership our food service department has ramped up to meet the goals set forth in GenCare's Whole Life Living program.

Larry Todd, Director of Facilities

Larry moved to Pacific Northwest from California as he realized his desire to achieve a little bit of the small town rural life. Fortunately for us, that quest found him in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Since 2006 Larry has kept our building and grounds in tip top shape. So far, we haven't been able to break anything he can't fix.

Debbie Villines, Director of Housekeeping Services

A native of Granite Falls, Debbie has always been connected to her small town roots. As an adult she and her family decided that there really is no place like home, and she wanted her own girls to experience growing up at a slower pace. Her passion for confection has appointed her as the requested cake supplier for our residents and families.

Vicky Zumwalt, Dining Room Supervisor

Like Michelle, Vicky has been with The Village prior to the first resident's arrival. She shares the love of crocheting and crafting with many of our seniors. When Vicky's not at work she enjoys time with her garden, her husband, but most of all with her grandchildren.
